PM Modi will be in Indonesia from July 6 to July 8. During this time, he will emphasize on deepening the partnership between the two countries in many areas. Apart from this, will also meet people of the Indian community. PM Modi’s visit to Indonesia is important. The purpose of this visit is to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. This will be the fourth visit of the Prime Minister and the first bilateral visit after reaching the level of comprehensive strategic partnership in May 2018.
The scope of partnership between India and Indonesia is not limited to traditional relations only. Indonesia today is looking at India not only as a strategic partner but also as a reliable source of successful models related to technology, policies and development. India’s successful public policy models in areas such as food security, digital governance, health, agriculture and defense are now becoming an important example for Indonesia in its development journey.
