Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of New Zealand these days. During this, he addressed the people of the Indian community living there and shared an emotional experience related to his life. Prime Minister Modi said that he got the opportunity to visit New Zealand about 25 to 30 years ago. At that time he was not a part of any government and very few people knew him even in public life. He said that his life at that time was completely different from what it is today, but he still remembers the love he received from the people of New Zealand.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi told that during that visit a person had gifted him three things. He said that one of those gifts he has brought with him to this program. Showing his muffler to the people from the stage, the Prime Minister said that this is the same muffler which was given to him as a gift by a person in New Zealand 25-30 years ago. He told that even after so many years he has kept this muffler safely. Apart from this, he also received cap and gloves as gifts, because it was cold weather there.
