He said that his life at that time was completely different from what it is today, but he still remembers the love he received from the people of New Zealand.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi told that during that visit a person had gifted him three things. He said that one of those gifts he has brought with him to this program. Showing his muffler to the people from the stage, the Prime Minister said that this is the same muffler which was given to him as a gift by a person in New Zealand 25-30 years ago. He told that even after so many years he has kept this muffler safely. Apart from this, he also received cap and gloves as gifts, because it was cold weather there.
