Filmmaker shared the post
Sharing the post on Instagram, Hansal Mehta wrote in the caption, “‘Shahid’, ‘Omerta’ and ‘Faraz’ were not just films. She was about the time in which we are living, breathing. The dreadful incident meets Pahalgam. ‘Omerta’ presented an outstanding attitude to the forces that nurture such heinous acts.

Missed your old days too
Mehta also recalled those days when his film was released. He further said, “When ‘Omerta’ and ‘Faraz’ were released, I remember I was targeted. I was asked,” Why this story? Why this focus? Is a community being targeted? ” He further said, “My answer is no, these stories are about a system that crosses the boundaries by taking the names of religions with hatred and fear. A system that promotes division. A system that brainwashes the youth, glorifies bloodshed and makes terror normal. “

Mehta advised to eliminate terror
Mehta further said in his post that we do not have to ignore these things, but to face it. He said, “Is it awareness to deny or turn the face with it? I believe it is cowardice, which is dangerous for us. We should stop turning our mouths. We should look at this hatred, eyes of this disease. Then we will be fine and change will come.”
