Shahnaz Gill said that if a film is ever made on his life, the story will be very interesting. However, he has refused to reveal the name of the film being made on his life as of now. The actress says that when such an opportunity comes, she herself will reveal the title of her story to the world.
In a conversation with IANS, Shehnaaz was asked that if there was an ‘Ishqnaama’ i.e. love story of her own life, what would be its title. On this question, the actress said, ‘When a film is made on my life, I think it will be very interesting, and when it happens, I will also tell its title.’
Regarding her character in the film, Shahnaz Gill said, ‘I feel that when a film is made on a true story, it is very important to take responsibility. I have tried to fulfill this responsibility to my full potential. I am sure that people will definitely like my character.

‘Ishqnaama’ is based on a true story
Talking about the film, ‘Ishqnaama’ is said to be inspired by a true love story, in which the relationship between Nimma and Naseema is shown. This is a period romantic drama film. Its story is based on the background around the India-Pakistan border between 1981 and 1988.
