Girish Mohan Gupta: For Dr. Girish Mohan Gupta, age is not a limit but only a number. At the age of 84, when most people get tired and lost, live as a retired person, then senior scientists and entrepreneurs have achieved new success in their lives and got an MBA degree from IIM-Ambalpur. Not only this, he has also started preparing for the next academic journey for PhD in management.
‘There is no age limit for studies’
After obtaining a degree from the prestigious institute last week, Gupta said, & ldquo; There is no age limit for studies. As long as you are curious and interested, a new opportunity wait for you every day. & Rdquo; Gupta influential 7.4 & lsquo; Calminate Grade Point Average & rsquo; (CGPA) with & lsquo; MBA for Working Professionals Program & Rsquo; Performed in my batch in. Amidst his other responsibilities, joining class was not an easy task, but discipline and passion inspired him to move forward.
He said, & ldquo; I never allowed age to come between myself and my curiosity. I like the game, I regularly swim and play badminton. Fitness and studies are an integral part of my life. & Rdquo; He told that he was often one of the first to reach the campus for class. Born in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh before independence, Gupta’s remarkable travel from a small town to the main nuclear power institute of India inspires determination and learning to learn for a lifetime.
Eaching from Aligarh Muslim University
After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, he reached high positions at Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), where he & lsquo; fast breeder reactors & rsquo; Contributed to important projects associated with, which is an extremely sensitive area of nuclear research. Recalling Gupta, he said, “During my early functioning at & ldquo; BARC, I was tasked to designing sodium -based equipment for breeder reactors.” We had to innovate with limited resources, and the spirit of ‘Make in India’ was still very vibrant. & Rdquo;
After the successful career in nuclear research, Gupta brought diversity in industrial innovation and established enterprises developing security and automatic products for Indian Railways, Defense Establishments and Private Sector Companies.
more than 345 jobs created
Through its major company – Geno Engineering – and Bova Global and NFMCG, Gupta has created more than 345 jobs, filed several patents, and has contributed significantly in making manufacturing processes indigenous, which has saved foreign currency of hundreds of crores.
Many awards were awarded
For the last several decades, Gupta has been considered one of the top neo -renewers in India in the fields of defense, nuclear power and railway technology. In the year 2022, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) by his company & lsquo; Global Engineers Limited & Rsquo; Honored with the Industrial Innovation Award, and considered it one of the most new enterprises in India.
Despite achieving so many achievements, Gupta’s nature is still very humble. He said, & ldquo; there are tricks, prizes and designations are milestones, not destination. True success is relevant to remain relevant and maintain hunger for knowledge. & Rdquo; Now there are no signs of slowing down the steps of Gupta, preparing to do another PhD. He said, & ldquo; If you are fond of learning, then life becomes your class. I want to continue to learn till my last breath. & Rdquo; Saying this, his voice was strong and there was a glow in the eyes.
