After the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army carried out the ‘Operation Sindoor’ and targeted 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK). In a statement issued by the Indian Army, it has been said that a total of 9 places have been targeted. These include Muzaffarabad, Kotli, MuridK and Bahawalpur.
These bases were planning terrorist attacks against India, and they were targeted by air -to -surface missiles. It was also clarified in the statement that no post or base of the Pakistani army was targeted. The operation was perfectly of non-re-and controlled nature. India’s action on Pahalgam attack
The biggest reason for this operation was the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which 26 people were killed. The terrorists targeted innocent pilgrims and local citizens. After the incident, a wave of fury and resentment spread across the country. On this, the Government of India took action against Pakistan and canceled the Indus Water Treaty. Apart from this, the visa of Pakistani citizens was canceled and ordered the officials to go from the Pakistani High Commissioner in Delhi. Pakistan also closed its aircraft in response and announced to end the Shimla agreement.
