The daughter of an ordinary farmer of Naxal -affected Kanker district of Chhattisgarh has shown such a feat, which has raised the head of the entire state with pride. We are talking about Ishika Bala, who not only returned by winning the battle with dangerous blood cancer, but also topped the entire state in class 10 board examination. Ishika has scored 99.2% marks, while this time the pass percentage of the board was only 76%.

Isika’s story is no less than a film heroine. Last year, her condition was so critical that she could not even appear in the examination. But even during treatment, he did not give up. He did not leave books amid weakness, pain and tiredness. She says that she wants to become an IAS officer later and this dream kept giving her strength to fight with every difficulty.

Isika has credited her success to her parents and teachers. His father said that the courage and hard work of the daughter has made the whole family feel proud. While the female literacy rate in a district like Kanker is just 59.6%, the achievement of Ishika has emerged as a new light for the daughters.

According to reports, this time in the 12th board examination, another student of Kanker has topped Akhil Sen. He has scored 98.2% marks. Akhil’s father runs a newspaper agency and Akhil used to study in the morning helping to distribute newspapers.
