Film sanam teri kasam makers on mawra hocane: After the ‘warning’ of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam 2’ actor Harshvardhan Rane, the filmmakers have made an important announcement about the sequel of the film. He told that Pakistani actress will not be a part of the upcoming film.
Film makers gave statement
Director Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru have confirmed the exclusion of Pakistani actress Mavra Hocken with ‘Sanam Teri Kasam 2’. He said that the silence of Pakistani artists working in India is very worrying against Pakistan sponsored terrorist attacks in Pahalgam. His comment against India is wrong and should be condemned.
The manufacturers said, “Terrorism should be clearly condemned. It is disappointing that some artists working in India remained silent in this matter. They got a lot of love, respect and big opportunity from here, yet they did not say anything about such terrorist acts against India. We are standing with our country and government and support their decisions. The country is the first to be the first and always.”
Harshvardhan has posted on Instagram
Earlier, Harshvardhan Rane also clarified by sharing a post on Instagram that if there is a Pakistani artist in the film, he will not be a part of it and will say ‘no’ directly.
In the post shared on Instagram, Harshvardhan wrote for ‘Sanam Teri Kasam 2’, “I am grateful for this experience, but as the situation is today, after reading the comments made about him and my country, I have decided that if the old cast is going to join the film again, I will refuse to be a part of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ Part 2.
Let me tell you, the 2016 film was released again on 7 February 2025. The film earned more than 30 crores at the box office and joined the list of hit films from the flop.
