Operation Sindoor: After the Pahalgam terror attack, India entered Pakistan and destroyed many terrorist bases. Meanwhile, China has reacted to the reports in which it was claimed that it sent its biggest military cargo aircraft there to provide weapons to Pakistan.
Pakistan did not get relief material- China
The Chinese Air Force called these claims a rumor and warned of legal action on those who claimed this. The Chinese Defense Ministry issued a statement saying that its Air Force has not made any mission, which is being claimed that China’s Y-20 aircraft is delivering relief material to Pakistan.
A report published on Monday (May 12, 2025) on the official website of the Chinese Defense Ministry said that after seeing a lot of information about delivering relief material to Pakistan from Y-20 on the Internet, the Air Force said in a statement that such claims are false.
China said- will take legal action
The PLAF also posted many photos and screenshots of words related to wrong information and each screenshot was marked by writing rumors with red. The report said, “The Internet is not beyond the law, people who spread military rumors will be legally attributed to them.”
The PLA has close ties with the Pakistani Army. This denial by the PLA is considered important, as it was agreed to stop all types of firing and military actions between India and Pakistan two days ago.
China is the biggest supplier of Pakistan
According to a recent report by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), China has emerged as the largest arms supplier for Pakistan. According to the report, 81 percent of Pakistan’s weapon purchase was purchased from China from 2020 to 2024. The purchase includes the latest fighter aircraft, radar, naval ships, submarines and missiles. Both countries jointly form J-17 aircraft, which is the mainstay of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
In view of the massive use of Chinese weapons and deep relations between the two countries, the Chinese official media has shown great interest in the Indo-Pakistan military conflict in the last few days and has reiterated some of Pakistan’s claims including killing aircraft.
India takes action under Operation Sindoor
India destroyed nine terrorist structures in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) under Operation Sindoor in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. After this, all the attacks of Pakistan were answered under Operation Sindoor. On the diplomatic front, China said that it will play a creative role in the ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
