India Pakistan Ceasefire: Amid India Pakistan tension, US President Donald Trump first gave information about the ceasefire. The US silenced a Pakistani journalist in Washington when he tried to ask if Prime Minister Narendra Modi opposed the negotiations between Delhi and Islamabad.
In the briefing of the US State Department, on Tuesday, the Pakistani journalist introduced President Donald Trump as the Messiah of peace, who mediated a ceasefire between India and Pakistan and claimed that India did not welcome the so -called efforts.
‘President Trump can get the Nobel Peace Prize’
The reporter told the US State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigot that Pakistan has welcomed President Trump’s efforts to hold a ceasefire between India and Pakistan and believes that if President Trump establishes peace between India and Pakistan on the Kashmir issue, he can get the Nobel Peace Prize. Also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not welcomed this effort. Does Narendra Modi’s attitude of not welcoming this peace agreement disappoint you?
‘Our focus is on the ceasefire’
The US official ignored his allegations and said that America’s focus is on the ceasefire. We are happy to see this. Our focus is on this and we want to maintain the ceasefire. We want to encourage direct communication. Our focus is here, our focus is on the ceasefire. He said that India and Pakistan should maintain direct dialogue and they appealed to both nuclear power -rich neighbors to choose the path of peace.
