The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the weather is going to give relief in the coming days. In the next one week, there is a possibility of rains in many states of South India with strong thunderstorms, lightning. At the same time, there has been a possibility of heavy rains for the next five days in the north-eastern states like Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. In Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan, many places can be cloudy.

Delhi NCR will be partly cloudy today. During this time the maximum temperature can be 42 and the minimum temperature can be 28 degrees. On May 18 and 19, strong winds are expected to blow, while the temperature can be from 37 to 42 degrees from 18 to 21 May. The national capital is expected to rain once again on 22 May.
There will be no relief from heat in Rajasthan
Most areas of Rajasthan are getting scorching heat. The border areas of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ganganagar, Bikaner divisions are expected to blow strong dusty winds in the next 3-4 days.
Alert of intense heat in Uttar Pradesh
The temperature was recorded at 45 degrees Celsius on Friday in many areas of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, till Sunday, there will be a severe heat situation in the state. In many areas of UP, the mercury reached 45 degrees Celsius.
