Covid-19 News Cases in India: In India, there is an increase in the cases of Covind-19 once again. New cases have been reported from Maharashtra, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha and Gujarat. When about 100 cases were reported in Maharashtra, 15 new cases were seen in Gujarat. A case of a newborn child has come to light in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Gurugram and Ahmedabad have seen a huge increase. According to the state health department, in May so far, 95 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in Mumbai, which is a major increase in compared to a total of 106 cases of Maharashtra since January. At least 16 people are hospitalized and patients are being transferred from KEM Hospital to Seven Hills Hospital.
Three cases came up from Haryana
There have been three cases of Corona virus infection in Gurugram and Faridabad in Haryana. An official said on Thursday that two cases have come up from Gurugram and one from Faridabad. In Gurugram, a 31 -year -old woman recently returned from Mumbai has confirmed the infection. Apart from this, a 62 -year -old man has also been found infected, which had no journey history. The official said that both the patients have been isolated.
At the same time, 28 -year -old security guard Kovid, resident of Healthpur in Palla area in Faridabad, was found infected. After suffering from fever, cough and cold for the last several days, he went to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for treatment. The official said that the infection was confirmed in the Kovid investigation there.
Many cases found in Gujarat
15 cases were reported in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Among these patients, JN.1 variant of Corona was found. All these patients are undergoing treatment. This variant is similar to Omikron, which was first found in August 2023. Health department officials have assured that there is no need to panic, all the patients are slowly recovering.
12 new cases in Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu has also seen an increase in cases recently, 12 new cases have been reported in Puducherry. In Chennai, doctors say that positive tests for Kovid-19 are being done rapidly in fever in the beginning due to influenza. Many cases have increased in Karnataka. According to state health minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, 16 active cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in Karnataka.
The condition of other places of the country
Similarly, a new case has been found in Odisha and the condition of the patient is stable at the moment. So far 182 cases have been reported in Kerala. 5 new cases have been found in Delhi. Dr. Neena Borade, Head of Health Head of Pune Municipal Corporation said, “We had only one case in May – an 87 -year -old man from Manjari, who has now recovered.” He informed that the Kovid-19 test has been stopped in civil hospitals till the revised central guidelines are pending.
