Mark Gurman’s AccordingApple Watch is working on an embedded camera inside the Apple display for standard model. However, it is not yet clear that it will be through under-display sensor or visible cutout. The plan on Apple Watch Ultra is slightly more different, a visible camera module placed next to the digital crown, so that users can point their wrist and scan the object faster.

These cameras will not be for selfie or facetime calls, it is still not easy for such a small screen. Instead, focus is on increasing visual intelligence. A camera, AI based features will be found in an apple watch, the work features that were introduced on the iPhone 16 and allows users to get AI generated information immediately if they put their device on an object or text.

Apple is also allegedly working on airpods with built-in infrared cameras. However, there is not much information yet, in which the work is being done to turn the spatial audio better and gesture based control that interact with the AR Environment. In this, users rotate their heads or shake their hands in the air and their device will respond to it.
