Honda upcoming suvs: Despite not launching any new model in 2025, Honda Cars India is now in full preparation and is going to introduce two new SUVs in the Indian market soon.
One of these will be a full electric 5-seater mid-size SUV and the other will be a premium 7-seater Ice SUV, which will be based on the company’s new PF2 architecture. Discussions about both models are intensifying in the auto industry and it is expected that these vehicles will compete in their segment in their segment, trains like Hyundai CRETA EV, Maruti EVX, Mahindra BE.6 and Toyota Innova Hycross.
Honda Electric 5-Citter SUV
Honda’s upcoming electric 5-seater SUV can knock on Indian roads within the next 9 to 12 months. This SUV will be introduced in a mid-size 5-seater layout and is being designed especially keeping in mind the needs of Indian customers. It is expected to compete directly with electric SUVs like Hyundai Creta Ev, Maruti E-Vitara, and Mahindra Be.6.
Povertrain and features
This SUV can be provided modern facilities such as full electric powertrain, digital instrument cluster, Adas (Advanced Driver Assistant System) features, and fast charging support. In terms of range, this electric SUV may be able to walk in the charge from about 400 to 500 kilometers, making it a better option for both long drive and urban use. Honda has already confirmed that it is preparing a new EV platform for India.
Honda 7-seater SUV
Honda’s second major launch will be an all-new 7-seater SUV, which the company is planning to introduce in the Indian market by the end of 2027. This SUV will be available in a 3-Ro layout and will be based on Honda’s new PF2 platform. This SUV is being jointly designed and developed by Honda’s R&D teams of Japan and Thailand, which will provide international level quality in its design and performance.
Engine specification
Talking about the engine specification, a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine can be given in it, which will be tuned for maximum efficiency. This SUV can give many modern options like potentially automatic transmission, panoramic sunroof, adas technology, and connected car features.
Launch timeline
