After the death of 11 people in a stampede near the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the BCCI has now come into action mode. Following the terrible accident during the Celebration of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) IPL victory, the board is considering formal guidelines to regulate such events in future.
BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia, while speaking to the cricbing, confirmed that now the league will be actively considered to set the criteria to celebrate the celebration after the title in the future. Saikia further said, “At some level the BCCI will have to do something. We cannot live as a mute spectator.”
