Families of the 33 people who lost their lives on the ground in the air India plane crash will also get 1 Crore Each from Tata Group

Air India Crash: After the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner accident of Air India in Ahmedabad, the death toll increased to 274 till Saturday. Apart from passengers and crew members aboard the plane, people were also involved in losing their lives by living on the ground. The Tata Group has also announced a compensation of Rs 1-1 crore to the families of 33 people who lost their lives on Zeon.

Since the plane hit the hostel of BJ Medical College, many doctors, medical students, hospital staff and many people from Meghaninagar area near the airport. Their number are 33. That is, overall, along with the passengers and family members of the crew members, people who lost their lives on the ground are also compensated. The Tata Group has also talked about raising the expenses on medical treatment of those injured in the accident so that the injured can get help and care according to their needs. Not only this, the Tata Group will also help in rebuilding the medical hostels, who was badly damaged in the Dreamliner accident.

Will Tata provide any kind of help?

The death of 241 passengers and crew members in this aircraft accident has been confirmed. Only one of these humans has survived. 33 victims were probably present at the time of the accident at the BJ Medical College Campus of Ahmedabad or nearby. Asked if the Tata Group will be offered any other kind of help other than compensation, such as giving jobs to family members? According to the report of the Indian Express, “An official said, nothing has been decided about it at the moment.”

Apart from 1 crore given by the Tata Group, the families of the passengers who died in the accident will also get about Rs 1.5 crore from insurance companies as compensation. Primary Insurance for Air India Policy is- Tata AIG General Insurance (Heads of more than 40 % stake is the insurer), ICICI Lombard General Insurance, New India Assurance and other PSU General Inspectors.
