Bengaluru rapido driver slaps woman viral video: A case of attacking a woman by a Rapido Bike Taxi Driver has come to light near a footwear showroom in Jayanagar, Bangalore. The incident happened when the woman questioned the driver about driving carelessly. After this, the debate between the two increased and the matter reached the fight.
Police registered NCR
According to police sources, the victim woman was hesitating to register a complaint initially, but the NCR (Non-Cognizable Report) was registered after the police officers explained.
Video went viral on social media
A video of this incident has gone viral on social media, in which it can be seen that the woman is talking in English, while the rider is responding in Kannada. This disagreement of language has also further increased the debate. People are discussing about this on social media. The police is now considering registering an FIR based on the confirmation of this video and the severity of the developments. The matter comes under the jurisdiction of Jayanagar police station and the investigation is currently underway.

Such a case was also revealed in 2024
One such case came to light in September 2024, when an incident of assault and indecency was revealed by an Ola auto driver in Bengaluru. When the woman canceled the booking on the app, the driver allegedly harassed her and slapped her. The video of this incident became very viral on social media, in which angry driver can be seen screaming at the woman.
