No evidence found in investigation
According to Cricinfo’s report, after receiving the complaint, the organizers of TNPL took the matter seriously and asked the Madurai franchise about the whole matter, but the team of Madurai Panthers could not present any video, photo or other concrete evidence in which the team of Dindigul Dragons was seen tampering with the ball. After this, TNPL CEO Prasanna Kanan issued an official statement saying that the allegations made in the complaint are baseless and no such evidence has been found in his investigation.
TNPL CEO Prasanna Kanan said, “The towels used were given by TNCA. The towel was made available for both teams. The umpire and match referee’s playing control team kept an eye on it during the entire match. No such problem was revealed during the match, and all the evidence has not been revealed, so all these are not yet, so all these are not so much. Are.”
Violation of rules in complaint
Prasanna Kanan further informed that the team of Madurai Panthers had filed a complaint about the matter after more than 24 hours after the end of the match, which is against the rules of the TNPL complaint process. Also, the complaint was not lodged with the Honorary Secretary of TNCA on time, due to which this complaint was insured. Despite this, TNPL had conducted a fair investigation into the matter.
He further said, “If the franchise has any reliable and verification evidence, then he can request formal for the Independence Commission by 3 pm on June 17. If the complaint team is unable to give evidence for their allegations, then the TNCA can face the restoration of the TNCA and the TNCA can be banned. Is.”
