This year, IIT Delhi has secured 123rd positions, leaving behind thousands of universities around the world.
This achievement is also special because IIT Delhi was ranked 150th in 2025 last year, and now it has shocked everyone with his performance by jumping 27 places. Not only this, this time IIT Delhi has emerged as the number-1 institute of India, which has also left IIT Bombay behind, which had been on top for the last several years.

While IIT Delhi achieved height, the ranking of IIT Bombay has fallen to 129 places this year. Earlier in the last decade, IIT Bombay was the top institute of India 6 times, but this time IIT Delhi has left behind.
