Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) has become a big relief for crores of farmers of the country. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given to eligible farmers every year in three installments. Now the month of June is going on and farmers are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment.
20th installment may come soon
According to media reports, 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana can be transferred to farmers’ accounts by 20 June 2025. However, no official date has been released by the government yet. Nevertheless, it is estimated that this time the installment will be sent directly to the bank account as before.
Which farmers may get stuck money?
If you are also beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana and are waiting for the installment, then keep in mind that it is necessary to have an e-KYC update. Farmers who have not yet e-KYC, can get their money. You can do e-KYC by visiting your nearest CSC Center, Bank or portal yourself.
Apart from this, it is also mandatory for the bank account to be linked to Aadhaar. If this is not a link, then the installment can be stopped. Go to the bank and complete this process as soon as possible by taking Aadhaar card, address proof (eg electricity or water bill) and bank passbook.
Wrong documents can also become bottlenecks
If any wrong information or documents are given while applying or during e-KYC, then it can also stop your installment. In such a situation, it is important that check all the information once again and make the necessary improvements in time.
When did the first installment come?
The scheme started in the year 2019. For the first time this benefit was received by the farmers of Bhagalpur district of Bihar. Then Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred an amount of Rs 22 thousand crore to the account of 9.08 crore farmers.
How to check the payment status?
Go to PM farmer’s official website PMKISAN.GOV.in.
Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’ in the Kisan Corner section.
Check the status by entering Aadhaar number, account number or mobile number.
