The party’s district president Pradeep Shakya Bablu and state secretary Gopal Yadav said in a press conference that this demonstration has no relation with the Samajwadi Party nor did the party call for it.
During the press conference, the SP leaders said that the Samajwadi Party has no role in the Dandarpur incident and whatever was performed was not done with the information or consent of the party. He accused some people of the Bharatiya Janata Party of inciting the incident. SP State Secretary Gopal Yadav said that during the protest, laxity and insensitivity came to light from the police administration, which worsens the situation. He demanded that the entire episode be investigated fairly and innocent local and regional workers should not be unnecessarily harassed.
Etawah Deputy District President Pradeep Shakya Bablu said that the demonstration was not done under the Samajwadi Party banner, the party has no relation with it. Gopal Yadav said, “The negligence of the police administration has spoiled the situation. Innocent workers should not be targeted.”
