In terms of budget, ‘Ramayana Part 1’ has surpassed expensive films so far. Earlier, Kalki was made in 2898 AD (600 crores), RRR and Adipurush (both ₹ 550 crore), but ‘Ramayana Part 1’ has defeated everyone. Mega star cast of ‘Ramayana’
Director Nitesh Tiwari is making ‘Ramayana’ in two parts. The first part can be released on Diwali 2026. In this film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi mother Sita. South Star Yash is going to play Ravana in the film. Sunny Deol will be seen in the roles of Lord Hanuman and Rakul Preet Singh Shuparnakha.
Apart from this, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, Ravi Dubey, Kunal Kapoor, Arun Govil, Sheeba Chadha and Indira Krishnan are also part of the star cast of ‘Ramayana Part 1’.
