Opium cultivation in haryana: The news of opium cultivation in Haryana’s only Visual Art University (Supawa) has been stirred up. Police reached the university after receiving information. At the same time, it has also been told that a committee has also been formed by the university administration regarding the matter.

The university administration did not even know, after the news came in the media, there was chaos all around. Students have complained to the Governor of Haryana about growing opium in the university. Not one or two plants have been found in the university nursery, not only this, an attempt has been made to use it by cutting the fruit coming in about four months. After 4 months, the plants were also ready and fruit was also planted on it. In such a situation, a student has complained to the Chief Minister and Governor of Haryana. There was a stir in the university administration, although the university administration seems to be avoiding speaking anything in this matter. The statement of the university has not been revealed.

At the same time, after getting the information, Urban State Police Station Incharge and Police reached the spot, Urban State Police Station Incharge Pradeep Kumar said that he got information and he had reached to investigate. He said that a case will be registered against the unknown, however, and action will be taken against whatever happens in this case. It is worth noting that a committee has also been formed by the university administration and it has been told that at present, about 140 opium plants have been found in different places in the university.
