Earlier too, former Prime Minister of Trinidad, Kamla Prasad Bisacer, had announced this honor, praising Modi’s global leadership. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has so far been honored with 25 international civilian honors. This number is not only unprecedented for an Indian Prime Minister, but is also considered highly effective at the global level.

India’s diplomatic success and criticism of opposition
The Bharatiya Janata Party has also taken sarcasm at the Congress party, comparing these international honors. BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya said that while Modi has received 25 international honors, the former Prime Ministers, Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, got only 6 honors. It shows comparison to how strong India’s global credit has been under the current leadership. However, critics also argue that diplomatic relations and leadership should be evaluated not only with honors, but with long -term stability and inclusion.
