PM Modi Honors Trinidad and Tobago Award: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded the ‘The Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago’, the highest civilian honor of Trinidad & Tobago. This achievement became even more historic because he has become the first foreign leader to receive this honor. This honor was given by Trinidad & Tobago President Christine Kangalu.
Prime Minister Modi accepted this honor on behalf of 140 crore Indians and said that it is a symbol of deep relations between India and Trinidad. This honor shows that Prime Minister Modi’s international image has become not only that of a leader, but of the global inspiration.
Earlier too, former Prime Minister of Trinidad, Kamla Prasad Bisacer, had announced this honor, praising Modi’s global leadership. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has so far been honored with 25 international civilian honors.
