The rainy season will continue in the state, according to the Meteorological Department, the process of rain will continue in UP till 19 July. During this time an alert has also been issued for heavy rains in many places.
In UP today, on 14 July, rain alert has been issued in both western and eastern divisions of the state. In western UP, there is a possibility of rain showers at some places with thunderstorms. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued at many places in eastern UP. During this time, lightning has also been warned. People have been asked to take precautions.
This process of rain can be faster in the coming days. Rainfall is estimated at many places across UP for the next three days from Tuesday. On 16 July, Eastern UP has been issued an orange alert for heavy to heavy rains. People have got relief from the heat due to rain. There will be no major change in the maximum and minimum temperature in the next five days.

Today in UP, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Sambhal, Badaun, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Barabanki, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Ayodhya, Ayodhya, Amathi, Prataprat, Pratapatpur, Jaunpur, Sonbhadra, Varamana, Varanapur, Mirjapur, Chandauli, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Ghazipur, Ballia, Mau, Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj and Kushinagar have been projected to rain in many places. In these districts, there has also been a warning of thunderstorms along with rain.
Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Noida, Aligarh, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Unnao, Kanpur, Rae Bareli, Fatehpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj will rain at some places. While Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Etah, Mainpuri, Etawah, Kanpur, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Jhansi, Mahoba and Lalitpur are expected to rain at one or two places. No warnings have been given in these districts.
