Andhra Pradesh Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy said on Thursday (July 24, 2025) that the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to implement free bus travel for women in the entire state since 15 August 2025.
Ramprasad Reddy said that this initiative is a symbol of gratitude towards women who supported us in our great victory in Andhra Pradesh. We are happy to expand this scheme to all the women of the entire state. The philosophy of our government is simple. We are committed to giving back those who have contributed to our success.
‘Government exchequer will come to the burden of 3,500 crores’
