Veda Krishnamurthy, who was the middle order batsman of the Indian team, has suddenly announced retirement. He confirmed his retirement through social media. Krishnamurthy was last seen representing the Indian women’s cricket team in the year 2020. He played a total of 124 matches for Team India, including ODI and T20. Annandering retirement, he thanked all those who supported him in this memorable journey.
Veda Krishnamurthy played 48 ODIs and 76 T20 matches for India, in which he scored 829 and 875 runs respectively. He also has 3 wickets in ODI cricket. He wrote a passionate post on social media and wrote that the journey from a small city to wearing an Indian jersey was proud. She said that she is putting a full health on playing cricket, but is not giving up the game of cricket.
32 -year -old Veda Krishnamurthy married Arjun Hoysala, who played for Karnataka. She was last seen playing for Team India in 2020, where she scored 19 runs in 24 balls against Australia in Melbourne. At the same time, his last ODI match came in 2018.
Krishnamurthy was known for playing strong shots. He had played the last competitive cricket match till now for Gujarat giants in WPL last year. He also faced many difficulties in his life because Krishnamurthy’s mother and sister died during the Covid epidemic.
