On the instructions of Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government has constituted a special standing committee to review the security of state schools, hostels, colleges, hospitals, other state buildings, roads and culverts.
This committee will ensure that repair work of unsafe buildings and bridges to be completed before 15 June every year. Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant has issued orders regarding the formation of the committee.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma took a high -level meeting soon after the school building accident in Piplodi village on Friday (July 25). In order to follow the instructions given by the Chief Minister in the meeting, the security audit of state buildings has been formed at the state level for the security audit and special repair.
Who will be included in the committee?
The chairman of this committee will be the Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department. Along with this, Additional Chief Secretary Higher and Technical Education or Representative Joint Secretary Level, Additional Chief Secretary Rural and Panchayati Raj or Representative Joint Secretary Level, Principal Secretary Energy Department, Principal Secretary, Department of Energy and Health, Government Secretary, Government Secretary, Urban Development and Housing, Government Secretary Education Department, Department of Education, Department of Education, Department of Autonomous Governance, Department of Affairs, Department of Agriculture and Finance Department will be members of this committee.
Committee will conduct security check and repair of government buildings
This committee will give directions to review all schools, colleges, hostels, offices, roads and bridges of the state, identifying dilapidated and unprotected buildings, preparation of disgrace and providing money for special repair of unsecured buildings and providing funds.
Along with this, this committee will review all state buildings to ensure security by providing financial and other resources every year for special repair. This committee will also review the efforts and instructions being made to stop the security and loss of life of state buildings.
Standing committee constituted at district level also
Similarly, a standing committee has also been formed at the district level, in which the District Collector will be president. The committee will include Chief Executive Officer Zilla Parishad, Superintending Engineer Public Works Department, Superintending Engineer Electricity Distribution Corporation, Chief Medical Officer, District Education Officer and other invited officers from the District Collector.
This committee will form a committee as per the need at all division levels by co-ordination from all departments and will prepare the security audit report of unsecured buildings, damaged roads and unsecured bridges.
At the same time, during the rainy season, the necessary instructions will be issued to prevent accidents due to electricity, drowning in floods, damaged buildings, roads, culverts and waterlogging etc. At the same time, dilapidated buildings and structures will be declared unsafe and ensure to destroy them.
