- August 3 – Sunday will be a holiday.
- August 8 – Tendong Low Rum in Odisha and Sikkim will remain closed due to fat.
- August 9 – Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Jaipur (Rajasthan), Kanpur, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) and Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) will remain closed due to bank Raksha Bandhan and Jhulan Purnima. - August 16 – Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Aizawl (Mizoram), Bhopal and Ranchi (Madhya Pradesh), Chandigarh (UT), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Gangtok (Sikkim), Hyderabad (Telangana), Jaipur (Rajasthan), Kanpur and Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Patna (Chhattisgarh), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Jayapur and Srinagar, Shilanga (Meghalaya), Raipur and Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), and bank Janmashtami (Shravan Slaughter-8) in Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) and Krishna will remain closed on the occasion of Jayanti.
- August 17 – Due to Sunday, there will be a holiday of banks across India.
- August 19 – On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur, banks will be closed in Agartala (Tripura).
- August 23 – Banks will remain closed across India due to the fourth Saturday’s exposure.
- August 24 – Sunday will be a holiday.
- August 25 – Banks will remain closed in Guwahati (Assam) due to Shrimant Shankardev’s Tirusha Date.
