The England Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its team for the fifth and last Test of Anderson-Tendulkar series against India. England have made a change, the team has been included in the team. The fifth test will be played in ‘The Oval’ from 31 July to 4 August.
England cricket team is ahead 2–1 in the 5-match Test series. By winning the last Test or playing a draw, the England series can be named after him, while Team India has to win the fifth Test to finish the series equal. On Monday, ECB announced the team for the last Test, which included Jamie Overton playing first class cricket for the Surrey Club last week.

Jamie Overton Cricket Career
31 -year -old Jamie overton is a bowling all -rounder. He took 2 wickets in the only Test match played in his career, which took place in 2022 with New Zealand. If he joins the playing 11 of the fifth Test, he will play his second Test after 3 years. Apart from this, he played 6 ODIs and 12 T20 international matches for England. Among them, he has 7 and 11 wickets respectively.
Indian team’s Test record in ‘The Oval’
India has played 15 Test matches earlier at the Kennington Oval ground in London. Here India has won 2 Tests while finishing 7 matches on a draw. In the remaining 6 matches, India had to face defeat (5 times from England and 1 time).
Rishabh Pant’s replacement Narayan Jagadisin
Rishabh Pant, who was injured in the fourth Test, is out of the fifth Test. His right foot shoes had a yorker ball of Chris Woakes, after which the news of his fracture in the scan was revealed. However, Pant took a bold decision to bat the next day and hit a half -century. Pant is out of the fifth Test, in his place, BCCI has included Narayan Jagadisin in the team.
