On Tuesday (July 29, 2025) in the monsoon session of Parliament, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi surrounded the government on the issue of ceasefire after ‘Operation Sindoor’. Rahul Gandhi said that the US President is repeatedly saying that we have done a ceasefire. If he is lying, then PM Modi should say in his speech of Parliament that the US President is lying.
Rahul Gandhi further said, ‘If you have courage like former PM Indira Gandhi, then come to Parliament and say that Donald Trump is false.’ He further said that the Foreign Minister is not in Parliament, he said in the speech that all the countries have spoken against terrorism, which is correct, but the Foreign Minister did not say whether a single country has condemned Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack. Everyone has spoken against terrorism. This means that the world is comparing India to Pakistan.

Rahul Gandhi further said that Pakistan’s General Asif Munir went to the US with President Trump and Trump broke the essence protocol, yet the Prime Minister of the country is silent. Why did the PM not tell Trump why you met Asif Munir?
Surrender in front of Pakistan in 30 minutes: Rahul
Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, citing the statement of the Defense Minister, said, “The government informed Pakistan at 1:35 am that we have attacked his terrorist bases and claimed that this step was not going to increase tension, but you surrendered in front of Pakistan in 30 minutes, which sent a message that the government does not have the will to fight war. The government held the freedom of our pilots in bondage, which led to their capacity.
