In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces are going on against terrorists. Today (30 July), security forces killed two Lashkar -e -Taiba terrorists in Poonch. Both these terrorists were trying to infiltrate Pakistan. The army named this operation as Operation Shiv Shakti. Earlier on July 28, three terrorists were killed by security forces.

All three terrorist Pahalgam were involved in the terrorist attack. The army named this operation as Operation Mahadev. The names of operation in different names of Lord Shiva are being given at a time when Amarnath Yatra is going on in Jammu and Kashmir. Shiva devotees are constantly reaching Baba Barfani.

What did the army say?

The Army’s Jammu -based White Knight Corps wrote on X at around 10 am with a hashtag operation Shiv Shakti, “In a successful anti -infiltration campaign, the soldiers of the Indian Army killed two terrorists trying to infiltrate across the Line of Control. His nefarious intentions were thwarted by quick action and accurate firing. Three weapons have been recovered. Due to its intelligence units and coordinated and organized intelligence from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, this campaign was successful. The campaign is still going on. ”

Officials said that late Tuesday night, the movement of terrorists infiltrating in Maldiwal area of Dagwar sector was seen. Then after intelligence information, the encounter of terrorists started with the soldiers sitting alert. Both terrorists were killed. A search operation was carried out in the morning, in which the death of both the terrorists was confirmed.

Operation Mahadev

On April 22, India ran Operation Sindoor to take revenge after the terrorist attack in Basaron Valley of Pahalgam. More than 100 terrorists were killed by the Indian Army by air strikes in Pakistan and PoK. But the big question was where are the terrorists who killed 26 people in Pahalgam.

Meanwhile, on July 28, the news came at around 12:30 pm, three terrorists have been surrounded on the outskirts of Srinagar. The army named it Operation Mahadev. After this, the army told that three terrorists were killed. The next day, on July 29, Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave the details of the success found in Operation Mahadev. He said that three attackers of Pahalgam have been killed. These terrorists have been identified as Suleman, Afghani and Jibran. 26 people died in the Pahalgam attack.

Amit Shah said, “Suleman and Afghani were the A-class commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, while Jibran was a notorious and desired terrorist.” He said that they were brought to those who were already arrested on charges of helping the terrorists to ensure the identity of these terrorists. These were the same people who used to provide food and shelter to the terrorists. When the bodies of the terrorists were brought to Srinagar, these witnesses confirmed that these are the same people who were involved in the Pahalgam attack.

In the three days, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir Nalin Prabhat said that many operations are going on in the entire area. Under this, terrorists are being eliminated one by one.

He said, “They (terrorists) have been active here for the last four years. The campaign is continuing. They are being eliminated one by one.”

Match of weapons

The Home Minister further stated that the M-9 and AK-47 rifles recovered from the slain terrorists were sent to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory in Chandigarh on Monday night, where they were investigated. Forensic lab confirmed that the empty cartridges found in Pahalgam and the bullets fired during Test firing have been associated with these weapons. Shah said that he has a ballistic report in this regard. Security forces have also recovered the Pakistani voter ID, Pakistan chocolates and weapons from the slain terrorists.
