The design of Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is still fully secret, but based on the only teaser image released in 2023, it can be said that its look will be quite rough and boxy. It will get a modern LED lighting system, which will give it a modern and premium look. In addition, high ground clearance and chunky tires make it ready for off-roading. The spare wheel mounted on the tailgate further strengthens its classic SUV look.

A 2.7 liter 2tr-fe-in-the-edged petrol engine is expected to be found under the hood of Toyota Land Cruiser FJ, which will generate maximum power of 161 bhp and torque of 246 Nm. This engine will be connected to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, which will use the 4WD system to deliver power to all four wheels. Toyota can also offer hybrid powertrain options in some international markets of this model. It is expected to cost between Rs 25-40 lakh in India, which can make it economical with Fortuner.
Will it be launched in India?
Till now Toyota has not made any official confirmation about the launch of Land Cruiser FJ in India, but the way the SUV segment is seen in India. In view of this, it is completely possible for this SUV to come to India. There is already a tremendous demand for a large SUV like Toyota Fortuner in India. In such a situation, the company can also target the mid-budget segment through FJ. If it is launched in India, it can compete with SUVs like Mahindra Scorpio-N, Tata Harrier, and MG Hector.
