The government took a big step for some central government employees, this allowance is doubled and relieved

7th pay commission: There is a big news for central government employees. The government has taken an important decision for some of its employees. Now the central employees coming in certain categories of disability will get double transport allowance at the normal rate. The Finance Ministry has asked all ministries and departments to strictly follow this instruction.

They will get these facilities

In an office memorandum recently released by the Finance Ministry, it has been clarified that a new list of categories of disability has been released, amending the pre -directions issued on 15 September 2022, under which the employees will be given double transport allowance. According to the new order, under the Divyangjan Rights Act, 2016, employees coming in the following categories will be entitled to this facility, provided other conditions are fulfilled:

Locomotor disability: This includes people who cured with leprosy, people victims of cerebral paralysis, dwarfism, muscle weakness and acid attacks. It also includes spinal distortions and injuries. Apart from these, people who do not have eyesight or see less, who have problems in hearing, people whose bids are not clear or who have trouble talking, people victims of learning disorder or autism spectrum, mental illness and multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease will also be entitled to its victims of long -standing neurological diseases.

Blood-Related Disableds: Hemophilia, Thalassemia, sickle cell disease.

Multiple disability: That is, two or more victims of the above incompetence, such as people struggling with both deaf and more.

Why are these facilities necessary?

Divyang employees have to face many difficulties in everyday life. Especially for work, it is very difficult for them to go somewhere. Doubling the transport allowance by the government is a big relief for these employees, which will not only give them financial assistance, but will also give them a boost in getting mixed up in the society.
