Issue of attack on Iran’s nuclear plant

The issue of attack on Iran’s nuclear plant has been a major topic of international politics for the last several years. Many nuclear sites of Iran have been targeted in recent years. Major nuclear centers of Iran include Natanz Nuclear Facility, Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant and Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center. In June 2025, during the tension between Israel and Iran, Israel carried out massive air strikes on several nuclear and military targets of Iran. Iran claimed that some of its nuclear sites were damaged, while Israel said that the aim was to weaken Iran’s nuclear capability. After this, America also took military action on some nuclear plants. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said at the time that some nuclear sites had been damaged, but there were no immediate signs of large-scale radiation leakage.
