Monsoon is becoming active again from this day
From Wednesday 13 August, the monsoon is seen to be active once again in the state. During this time, there has been a forecast of heavy rains in most parts of eastern UP. On August 14 and 15, there is a possibility of heavy rains in both divisions with cloud roaring. During this time, a thunderstorm has also been warned.

In UP today, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal, Badaun, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Barabanki, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar will rain today.
Along with this, alert of light rain has been issued at some places in Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria, Ballia, Azamgarh, Mau, Gorakhpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ayodhya and Gonda and surrounding areas. However, no special warning has been given.
Heat will increase in the next 24 hours
In the rest of the state, there may be light showers of rain with thunderstorms in one or two places today. No thunderstorms or any warnings have been issued by the Meteorological Department here.
Due to low rainfall, the maximum temperature of the state may increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours. There will be no change after this.
