Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) Defense Metalgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) has taken out a great opportunity for ITI pass youth. Under this recruitment, apprentices will be appointed on a total of 80 posts. These include welder, 5 of turners, 10 of machineist, 12 of fitter, 6 of electronics, 12 of electricians, computer operator and programming assistant, 30 of carpenter, 2 of carpenter and 1 post of photographer.
Essential educational qualification
Talking about educational qualification, the candidate must have an ITI degree from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute. Only regular candidates can apply. Those who have already completed training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 will not be eligible to apply in this recruitment.
Age limit
The age limit will be fixed according to the apprenticeship rules. There will be no examination in the selection process, but the candidates will be selected on merit basis. The selected candidates will also be given a stipend according to the apprenticeship rules.

Essential documents
While applying, the candidates will require police verification certificate, pre -institute’s Conduct and Character Certificate, Physical Fitness Certificate, SSC (10th) Certificate, ITI Certificate, Caste Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applied), PWD Certificate (if applicable), Copy of bank passbook, Aadhaar card and passport Size photo will be needed. The application fee will not have to be paid for this recruitment process.

First of all, the candidates should visit Apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. After this, click on the Establishment section of “Defense Metallurgical Research Laboratory”. Click on the applied link and then log in and fill the application form. After paying the required fees, submit the form. Finally, download the form and take out the printout for further needs.
