DU UG Admission 2026: Delhi University has released the first seat allotment list under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) for UG Admission 2026-27. Candidates who have locked their college and course preferences after completing both the stages of CSAS can now check their allotment status by logging into the official portal. The admission process has also started with the first seat allotment and candidates will have to complete the process of accepting the seat, document verification and depositing the fees within the stipulated time limit.
This year a record number of students applied for admission in Delhi University. According to the university, 2,18,284 candidates completed the registration, while 2,08,043 students had locked their final choice of college and course. In the first round, 93,033 seats have been allotted for 221 undergraduate programs run in 67 colleges of the university. The total allotment rate was 86.1 percent.
Check your name in the list like this
- To check your name in the first list for admission, first go to the official UG admission portal of Delhi University.
- After this, click on Candidate Login or CSAS UG Login option on the home page.
- Now enter your CUET UG 2026 application number, password and security captcha.
- After login, click on First Seat Allotment Status link.
- After this, information about the allotted college and course will now appear on the screen.
- If you have been allotted a seat, download the allotment letter and keep it safe.
What to do after getting a seat?
Candidates who get seats in the first round will have to accept their seats by 11:59 pm on 18th July. After this the concerned college will complete the online verification of the uploaded documents of the candidates. After completion of verification, the option to deposit the fees will be available. Admission will be considered temporarily confirmed only if online fees are deposited by 21st July. If a candidate does not accept the seat within the stipulated time, the seat allotment will be automatically canceled and he/she will also be out of the regular counseling process.

Keep this document ready
During document verification, candidates will have to keep necessary documents like CUET UG 2026 scorecard, 10th and 12th mark sheet, passport size photograph, valid photo identity card, category certificate (if applicable), migration certificate and transfer certificate ready so that last minute problems can be avoided.
