Because of this, he keeps distance from his films. Mohnish has been away from films for a long time. His last release film was ‘Panipat’ in 2019. In an interview, he told that he is looking for parallel lead roles, he gets supporting roles only.

Mohnish Bahl was born on 14 August 1961 in Mumbai. Her mother Nutan was the iconic actress of Hindi cinema, who created history from films like ‘Sujata’, ‘Bandini’ and ‘Milan’. Father Rajneesh Bahl was a naval officer. Mohnish was married to actress Ekta Sohini. They have two daughters, Pranutan and Krishna. Pranutan also made her Bollywood debut with the 2019 film ‘Notebook’. Mohnish’s cousin Kajol and Tanisha Mukherjee are also well-known Bollywood celebrities.
