Tej Pratap Yadav (Tej Pratap Yadav) Party Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD) candidate Veena Manvi (Veena Manvi) Was arrested by the police on Monday (July 13, 2026). She is JJD candidate from Bankipur. After nomination the police arrested him. A warrant for his arrest was issued today (Monday).
In this matter Tej Pratap Yadav said, “We have serious objection to the action taken against our party’s candidate Veena Manvi ji on the day of nomination. We believe that an attempt has been made to implicate him in a false case and influence his electoral process.”
He further said, “If this has happened, then it is extremely worrying for the democratic system. I, Tej Pratap Yadav, National President, Janashakti Janata Dal, stand strongly with Veena Manvi ji. We have full faith in the judiciary, and if necessary, we will even knock on the doors of the court to protect our rights. The people of Bankipur Assembly are standing with truth and justice. We are confident that the truth will prevail.”

Tej Pratap Yadav is in Delhi
Tej Pratap Yadav has released his video statement on Twitter saying that he is in Delhi. He has called Veena Mavani’s arrest a conspiracy. Tej Prapat said, “We are in Delhi… We are coming to Bihar soon. When we come to Bihar, we will gherao the government. The people of Bankipur are seeing everything about how injustice is being done to a woman.
Tej Pratap Yadav said, “When injustice is done to a woman, Krishna’s Sudarshan Chakra runs. Now after coming to Bihar, my Sudarshan Chakra will run. Veena Manvi has complete dominance, she is winning, hence she has been deliberately implicated.
Tej Pratap Yadav raised questions on the arrest and said that Veena Manvi was roaming in the area for three days, so why did the police not come? This is a big conspiracy and we know very well whose conspiracy it is. As soon as he reaches Patna, he will hold a press conference and expose him.
