
Kanha’s sixth is celebrated 6 days after Janmashtami on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada. The sixth day of Shri Krishna is special for devotees like Janmashtami. Kanha ji’s sixth is organized in the same way as after the birth of a newborn baby at home.

On the sixth day, Kanha is bathed, new clothes are worn, kajal is applied, adornments are done with jewelery and various kinds of indulgence are offered. Let us know what things should be enjoyed on Kanhi’s sixth.

Offering on Kanha’s sixth is also a traditional method along with religious method, in which all the bhog is taken in his mouth by lifting the child form in the lap. By the way, there is a law to offer fifty -six bhog of Kanha. But five such bhog which are considered as 56 bhogs and Kanha is also very popular.

Kadhi rice- Kanha ji has a tradition of offering kadhi rice on the sixth. The reason for this is that Shri Krishna liked Kadhi rice food since childhood. Being light and digestible, mother Yashoda also served him. Therefore, Kanha is offered curry rice.

Kheer’s enjoyment- Kanha was also very dear to the things made of milk from childhood. Therefore, on the sixth day, they are also offered kheer.

Makhan Mishri- Makhan-Mishri is one of Kanha’s favorite bhogas. It is also very easy to make. Mishri brings sweetness and Makhan likes Kanha since childhood. Due to stealing Makhan, he also had a name Makhan Chor.

Semolina pudding- Seato pudding made of ghee, saffron, dry fruits and milk is also very tasty and nutritious. You can also offer semolina pudding on Kanha ji’s sixth. After making the pudding, when it cools down, you can also offer it by adding basil leaves on top of it.

Coriander registration- Like Janmashtami, you can also offer coriander registry on Kanha’s sixth. Krishna likes this bhog very much. Sri Krishna loves the enjoyment of coriander registration.
