ICC ODI ranking: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released a new ranking of ODI bowlers on Wednesday. There is a big surprise in this ranking. The ranking has 9 spinners in the top 10 bowlers, while only one fast bowler is included. New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry has become the only fast bowler in this list.
Mat Henry Fast bowler alone
New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry is ranked seventh in this ranking with 622 points. Apart from him, Jasprit is also world -class fast bowlers like Bumrah, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, but no one has been able to make it to the top 10 in the current ranking. Experts believe that the main reason for this is to reduce the number of ODIs and to promote Test and T20 format. For this reason, only one fast bowler is included in the top 10 in this ranking.
Spinners occupation
In the latest ICC rankings, the dominance of spinner bowlers in the top 10 is clearly visible. Keshav Maharaj of South Africa ranks first with 687 points. Maharaj has recently achieved this position by taking 5 wickets against Australia. After him, Mahesh Tickha of Sri Lanka is second and Kuldeep Yadav of India is in third place.

Matt Henry’s contribution
Henry, 33, recently made New Zealand champion with his deadly bowling in the final of the Tri -T20 series in Zimbabwe. Henry has so far taken 136 wickets in 32 Tests, 165 wickets in 91 ODIs and 37 wickets in 25 T20s. After the retirement of Tim Southee and Trent Bolt, Henry has become the mainstay of New Zealand’s fast bowling.
