Two vehicles are very much discussed in this segment-newly launched Renault Kiger Facelift and Nissan Magnite being already liked. Both SUVs are made on the same platform (CMF-A+), but there are some special differences in their design, space and features. This thing makes them different and special. How much is the price?
- The initial price of Renault Kigar starts at around Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and the price of its top model goes up to Rs 11.30 lakh. On the other hand, the price of Nissan Magnite is slightly lower. Its base model starts at Rs 6.14 lakh, while the top variant goes up to Rs 11.92 lakh. If seen the base model, then Magnite is more economical, but in the top variants, the carigar proves a bit cheap. Both cars are strong contenders in the budget friendly segment.
How is the design?
- The design of Renault Kigar is stylish and sporty. It has sleek lines, split headlamps, new 2D logs and 16-inch alloy wheels. At the same time, Nissan Magnite offers a strong look like more attractive and SUV. It has wide chrome grille, boomerang-shaped drls and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Kigar gives a smart and modern look for cities, while Magnite’s design is more muscular and bold.
Difference between interior and features
- The interior of the kigar is dual-tone white-black theme, ventilated front seats and premium with 8-inch touchscreen. It has features like 7-inch digital driver display, wireless charging and automatic climate control. On the other hand, Nissan Magnite comes with Tan-Black Interior, 9-inch Touchscreen and Lederate seats. Its 360-degree camera makes it different from the kigar. Both SUVs have wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay support and 6 airbags have been provided for safety. However, the keiger is ahead in the case of boot space. It has a 405 liter boot space, while Magnite has 336 liters of space.
Engine and performance
- Both cars are made on the same CMF-A+ platform and have a 1.0-liter petrol engine. The naturally aspiratory engine gives 72 PS power and 96 Nm torque, while the turbo-petrol engine generates 100 PS power and 160 Nm torque. The gearbox option has a 5-speed manual, AMT (for Naturally Aspirated) and CVT (for Turbo variants). Let us know that if you see the price and base variants, Nissan Magnite is more economical, but if you want a big boot space and premium interior then the Reno Korea is better. Both SUVs are almost equal in features and performances.
