Ever since T20 format has come in cricket, when and how the match turns in minutes, it is not known. Something similar has happened in Kerala Cricket League 2025. A batsman named Salman Nizar has created a panic by hitting 11 sixes in 12 balls. On August 30, the match between Adani Trivandrum Royals and Calicat Globstars was played in the Kerala Cricket League. Playing for globstars, Salman Nizar scored 86 runs in 26 balls, including not a single four but 12 sixes.
5 sixes in over
Calicut Globstars team came to bat first. It was 115 runs in 18 overs. Meanwhile, Basil Thampi came to bowling in the 19th over, he would not have even thought that he was going to be badly beaten. Salman Nizar put 5 sixes off his first five balls and kept the strike with a single run on the last ball. Basil Thampi had 31 runs in the over, causing the score of Globstars to reach 146 runs in 19 overs. Thampi is the same bowler who has been a part of the Squad of Gujarat Lions, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL.
40 runs in an over
In the last over, Abhijeet Praveen came to bowl and he was worse than Basil Thampi. Salman sent his first ball across the boundary. Abhijeet had come under pressure, the next ball was wide, while the next ball from it was no ball, on which the batsmen of Calicat Globstars ran 2 runs. In this way, Abhijeet gave 10 runs in just one ball.
After that, Salman Nizar hit 5 consecutive sixes on the next five balls. Abhijeet Praveen had a total of 41 runs in the over. In this way, the team of Globstars added 71 runs in the last 2 overs and scored 186 runs in the first innings. Salman played all 12 balls in the last 2 overs, in which he hit 11 sixes.
