Army under billions of dollars control

These institutions get tax exemption, special rights on government land and regulatory security, which keeps them different from normal market competition. Poverty versus tanks and fighter aircraft
Despite being dependent on the IMF, Pakistan’s army continues heavy expenditure on tanks and fighter jets. In contrast, ordinary families have a problem of increasing unemployment and declining income. Pakistan’s per capita income in 2025 is $ 6,950, which is much less than in neighboring countries. According to the World Bank’s 2025 report, Pakistan’s 44.7 percent of the population is living below the poverty line of $ 4.20 per day. Apart from this, 16.5 percent people i.e. about 39.8 million people are living in extreme poverty, which was 4.9 percent earlier.
The Fauji Foundation with a wealth of about $ 6 billion is equivalent to some medium -sized Indian companies such as Apollo Hospitals and JSW Energy, but it is still much smaller than big companies such as HDFC Bank ($ 145 billion) or Tata Group ($ 436 billion).
