South African ODI captain Tamba Bavuma has clarified that David Miller is in South Africa’s ODI plans for the World Cup 2027. David Miller has signed a hybrid contract with Cricket South Africa (CSA).

David Miller left Australia’s limited overs tour in August to play with Northern Supervisors in the recently concluded ‘The Hundred’. Even though Miller is also out of the ODI team in England, but will return to the team for the three -match T20 series starting from September 10.

Captain Tamba Bavuma said, “I think this conversation took place during his contract, in which his availability was fixed during ‘The Hundred’. He was not originally available for selection, but I am in favor of this improvement. David is still in our ODI plan.”

By the World Cup 2027, David Miller will turn 38 years old. David Miller, who debuted internationally in May 2010, has scored 4,611 runs in 154 innings of 178 ODIs with an average of 42.30. During this time, seven centuries and 24 half -centuries have been scored from his bat.

ODI series between England and South Africa from tomorrow

Let us know that the South African team is on a three -match ODI series and England tour for the same match T20 series. The first ODI between the two will be played from tomorrow i.e. from September 2 in Headingley, Leeds. Tenba Bavuma is the captain of the team.
