Akash Chopra has dismissed Irfan Pathan’s allegations outright. Akash Chopra said that the captain always does the best team selector. He chooses a winning team. What happens in the captain’s room, who does what, does not affect the captain. The captain has to choose a team that can win.
Akash Chopra further said that if the captain feels that a player is not doing well under pressure, then he is not chosen. The one who performs well under pressure, the captain chooses it.
