Many ministers of Nepal government were beaten up by protesters. Many government buildings were set on fire. The protesters also reached the house of KP Sharma Oli. His house in Bhaktapur was set on fire. However, by then Oli managed to escape with his family. It is being speculated that they are hiding in a safe place.

Pashupatinath Temple closed amid fierce performance

The Pashupatinath temple, one of the holiest religious places in Nepal, has been closed for visitors on Wednesday due to increasing violent demonstrations in the country. The Nepal army has been deployed to ensure the safety of the temple premises and maintain peace.

There was silence on the streets of Kathmandu on Wednesday morning. Very few people came out of their homes. Curfew has been implemented in the entire city. According to IANS report, at least 22 people died in clashes between protesters and security forces and more than 500 people were injured.
