Poland is also seen to be entry in the midst of Russia Ukraine War, as Poland claims that Russia has violated its aerspace during an attack on Ukraine. Poland’s military command said that on Wednesday (September 10, 2025), he has activated his and NATO air defense system after the Russian air strike on Ukraine.
This is the first time in the Ukraine War that Warsaw has deployed its assets in its airspace. Poland’s military command stated that the Polish airspace has been repeatedly violated by things like drones during the Russian attack on the Ukraine border.
Poland killed a drone
The military command said in its statement, “A campaign is being carried out for the purpose of identifying and neutralizing these items. Arms have been used, so Army personnel are taking action to locate the fallen things.” The statement further said that the military campaign is going on and people have been appealed to stay at home.
Poland Army on alert
According to the army, Podlaski, Mazoviki and Lublin are the most risky areas. He said that the Polish armed forces are keeping an eye on the situation and the security forces have been instructed to be fully prepared for any immediate response.
‘We are in constant contact with NATO command’
Poland Defense Minister Vladislav Kosiniaq Kamiz said in a post on X that we are in constant touch with NATO command. According to the US federal aviation administration, Poland has closed 4 airports including its main Chopin Airport in Warsaw. However, there has been no official confirmation of the closure of any airport by Polish officials.
