First, on August 20, the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill 2025 was approved in the Lok Sabha. Just one day later, it was passed in the Rajya Sabha on 21 August. On August 22, the President approved the online gaming bill and after that it has now become a law. Under this bill, online money games will be banned. That is, people will not be able to betting through online gaming platforms. Instead, e-sports and social games will be promoted.
The government believes that a person harms itself with real money games. This also causes harm to his family. At the same time, money laundering and tax evasion are being done from online money games, terrorists are getting even funding. Like this government of the government, companies like Rami Circle, My Circle 11 are trimming people from here.
People are also being removed from many more companies
Earlier, pokering has taken out his 45 percent staff i.e. about 200 people out of work. The Mobile Premier League (MPL) has also decided to remove 60 percent of its employees. Let us know that the market for online gaming in India is about 32,000 crores. Its year 2030 has been estimated to reach 66 thousand crores. However, its 86 percent revenue comes from real money format. In such a situation, the online gaming bill can be gathered on about 2 lakh jobs. Due to this, the government will also suffer a loss of tax of 20 thousand rupees annually.
